Wow! Just watched Danny’s performance on American Idol. It’s so awesome to see how effortlessly Danny sang. I was telling Pastor Robin that “what we saw tonight, is what we’ve had the priviledge to see and hear every week here at Faith Builders!” I’ve always known what we had in him and have told him so many times. Man, i’m just so proud! Remember to vote as we watch the world discover what we’ve known for 8 years! To God be all the glory!

I found your website on the internet tonight, and I have left a prayer request with your staff. I have been a Student Pastor for 18 years, and I have to tell you that when my wife and I heard Danny sing tonight my hands were lifted, and all we could say was “Anointed, Anointed, Anointed!” Thanks for sharing this amazing gift with all of us, and I will be glorifying God all the way through the competition. From his first audition on the show I knew, there is something special about this guy. Jamar should have made it through too by the way, but God knew what He was doing…Be blessed. Thanks in Advance for agreeing with me for my prayer need! Wow! What a blessing to hear Danny tonight!!

I voted about 30 times for Danny, I’m so proud. I have told the Sheriff’s Office and everyone I know that watches Idol to vote. But if they didn’t vote. I think I voted for them. I’m so proud of Danny and the support the church has given. that’s awesome

Hello! Nice to meet you all. I just came here to let you know how much DANNY and JAMAR have enspired me and my family. We are faithful fans of both the guys. The sing with such heart and faith. The way they sing reminds me of the people from my church. What is funny…is when I first heard them sing, I was very moved. As if I knew they have faith in God. I told my kids “look at those guys…don’t they remind you of how we sing in church!” and my kids said “yea they DO!” and sure enough, sure as the love in my heart for Jesus Christ, my instinct was correct. We do vote for DANNY! Over and Over haha. and I’d have voted for JAMAR TOO if they’d have let me! I just wanted to let you know how they have inspired us waaay over here in Hacienda Heights CALIFORNIA! GOD BLESS YOU.

It is amazing to watch the progression as Danny moves on tho the next level of competition.I feel confident that he will finish first but as I sit through these shows I tremble with anticipation.God is doing a great thing through our praise team,with so many talented singers among them I wonder who will try out for American Idol next year?

We’ve been spoiled by Danny and his awesome gift. I’m glad now he gets to share his gift and Jesus with the world! Lisamarie812..you’re not the only one that cried. I cried because it’s amazing to watch prophecy being fulfilled and his destiny being established. No one is more deserving of this than Danny.

It was nice to watch Danny’s vote results at church tonite! The cheers coming from the sancutary were so loud I could hear it in the lobby! It was like being at a Packer game! Except, tonight there was actually a victory! (don’t get mad at me Packer fans) God is Good!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR DANNY AND FOR ALL OF YOU AS WELL. YOU MUST BE SO PROUD!!! my family and I were at the edge of our seats last night! HOW DID I KNOW THEY WERE GOING TO WAIT TIL THE END to let the world know if Danny made it or not!? they did that on purpose. I CRY TOO. my heart gets filled with an overwhelming emotion of JOY! it’s wonderful. it is absolutely wonderful what DANNY is doing. he needs to know he has touched the hearts of so many. when they announced him moving forward we all sprung out of our seats like we’d won something!!! it is awesome to have moments like that to share with my family. (my son was in his room watching and through our shouts of JOY I heard my son in his room shout “WOOHOO!” and then he ran in the room to join us) it sounded like new years eve at my house! haha. from the lil house in Hacienda Heights, We’re behind Danny 110%!!! WTG Danny! I loved what the one judge said - “You give us hope”. We know that the hope she’s seeing is Christ in Danny but how amazing to realize God has him in a place to show the hope of Christ to millions of people that are so desperate for it.

I posted a thread for prayer for Danny on the AI general forum. It was deleted within acouple of hours. The response that I received when I sent an inquiry was that prayer threads were not allowed on the AI forums. There were several on the individual fan folders on the forums last year. There are several forums for posting prayer for Danny and other AI contestants listed on www.heart-throscopy.blogspot.com.
I have also started a group for prayer for Danny on facebook. “Praying for Danny Gokey” All are welcome to join and post there. I may not have time to do much with the site there until next week.
I consider it an honor to pray for such a great man of faith! I am excited that he made it into the top 12.

Back in 2004/2005,I remember being in Choir (with Dan&Sophia) for a short time. Its been a long while since i have been to Faith Builders. I have just recently heard that Dan had tried out for American Idol and had just caught his first performance. When i heard Dan’s voice through the TV it brought back that memory of FBIM and how much I missed worshiping there. It touched me soo much I have dedicated my life BACK to christ!! I remember the heart for worship Dan had, and still has. It has caused me to want a closer relationship with GOD once again.

Wow!Friday nite concert featuring “Danny G” was off the chain!! I have been going to FBIM for a little over a year, and I remember the first service I attended. I told my fiance, “that is a BAD WHITE BOY right there”! LOL It’s just amazing to see God elevate him, and his voice and performance keeps getting BETTER each time. Jamar should have made it too! Very nice job, he got “dissed”. Come back next year J! The overall talent at FBIM is RIDICULOUS, AWESOME!!!
