Danny makes the next round!

There seems to be no doubt, as to who America (not to mention) our church loves, and wants to see victorious as the next American Idol! Danny was absolutely sensational singing Michael Jackson’s hit “PYT!” And for us that know him he can dance LOL! I loved what the judges had to say, but especially Kara…I think she nailed it when she said that Danny has so much joy when he sings! We know that the joy of the Lord is our strength! And that “joy” which is Christ in him comes forth as he sings. But that “joy” has also become the very foundational strength that has kept Danny during the most painful time of his life! It reminds me of the song that Danny and our praise team sang so many times “This joy that I have, the world didn’t give it to me…the world didn’t give it, so the world can’t take it away!” No matter what trials come our way Jesus offers us joy in the midst of our most painful seasons! I believe that is a part of the message that Danny brings to the nation…there will be a tomorrow and you will smile again! Pastor

I find it absolutely amazing that all the words they use to describe Danny and his performances are words that we as believers use every day yet the ‘world’ hardly ever uses. Redeemer. Joy. etc.
Pastor Pruitt, I know your prayer when you came to Milwaukee was ‘God, send me people with talent’. Well, prayer answered! Danny and Jamar are the first to get public recognition but they will be far from the last.
And I want to go on record as being the first to say this….I just know what I know. We WILL see Danny on Saturday Night Live. Not only singing but acting, too!
Danny, Love ya man. Jamar, you too!
    Blessings to all!

Praise God! Danny can dance. He came up with some of the moves we did in choir. I laughed when he said he couldn’t dance. What I love is that Kara continues to use a little “christianese” each time she critiques Danny’s performance. He definetaly brings the joy and passion of Christ when he performs. Always his message is hope and you can go forward and if you fall Jesus will be there to pick you up and dust off your knees. We as a church will go forward and continue to show the community the love and joy that comes with being a child of God. Thank you Pastor for being our Joshua. God Bless

Absolutely Pastor! Danny sang P.Y.T. better than Michael! It wouldn’t surprise me to know that Danny has already spoken to the “King of Pop”. Isn’t it grand that we also know a “king” who is the King of King.
This Idol experience has many facets of which we have yet to see. I pray that Light continue to shine on Danny & Jamar, and like a precious gem, reveal something beautiful with every turn.
    ~Blessings :)

“No matter what trials come our way Jesus offers us joy in the midst of our most painful seasons” AMEN to that! It is so refreshing to Danny smiling. We see so much heartache and negativity on TV now days; it’s great to see a change! I believe as Christians we need to be ready for a change this year. Even if some only see it as a change in American Idol God is using Danny is so many mighty ways. I believe that viewers will see and hear the joy he has and want it too! I pray for Danny before he sings and I pray for every single person that will hear him as well! I am so blessed to have my brother in Christ onstage!

very moving performance last nite. i was in my living room almost in tears. Danny sings with so much soul and emotion, he is truly blessed with talent. JEsus take the WHEEL i can’t do it on my own! He inspires me to be a better person everyday and reminds me to always place God first. please tell him thank you for being such a great role model. I am so glad he is out there singing his heart out for all of us to hear. We are blessed to hear him. To me this competition doesnt even matter anymore because America has been blessed and inspired and exposed to Danny, we all know who he is now and we all love who he is as an artist and as an individual. I hope he leads others who are lost to Christ thru his song because with Christ, is the greatest place to be!!!

I just wanted to say I’ve been praying that God uses Danny and Jamar to touch lives all over. American Idol isn’t just seen here. It’s worldwide!

When two or more come together in prayer…. things happen.

I’ve been watching AI since the end of the 1st season. I believe this is the best AI ever! Last year, I voted for Jason Castro b/c I work with his auntee at our Pre-k School. Plus, we need more of Christ’s servants out there (in the secular world) touching people’s lives and increasing His Kingdom. Jason’s church spoke very well of his testimony and service. He’s a great singer, and I hope God uses him for his glory and purpose. It is my sincere wish and prayer for Danny as well. There is something special about Danny–I feel his voice is truly annointed! I would love to see him win; but he is already a winner (in so many ways)! I would really like to hear him lead a worship service. I told my husband that I would like to visit FB church on a day that Danny would come home to visit. Can someone let me know here in Garland, TX when that will be?

I believe Danny is celebrating his birthday this Friday, the 24th of April. Here is his birthverse and best wishes:
    Romans 4:24 NIV
…but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

Danny, you are a child of God, His treasured possession. He created you in His own image. He chose the day for you to be born. He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Cherish your birthverse Danny!

Blessed by your voice and faithfulness,
    Belisa
