Well Danny Gokey Day was such an awesome day for the city of Milwaukee & of course our church. Danny was very excited to be back at home with friends & family. He told me several times how good it was to be at Faith Builders! He asked me to let you know how much he misses you all. What an incredible time we had with him. The church was jam packed by 9:30am, Danny finally arrived at 10:20am. I had just recieved a phone call from Mancow, the number one radio station in the nation, requesting to interview Danny. We worked it out with the producer of Idol & made it happen. Pastor Steve Munsey told Mancow that Danny wouldn’t go on the show unless he mentioned Faith Builders & Jeff Pruitt at least two times in the interview. Pretty cool! Danny graced the stage & sang three songs & gave major props to the ministry, what a blessing! Also our praise & worship team along with Jamar Rogers performed live on Fox6. That was awesome! Danny later went to Summerfest for his first concert, where 26,000 to 28,000 fans were waiting for him. It was incredible! Then he went to Miller Park to sing the National Anthem before 40,000 people. I’m very proud of Danny, & I’m very proud of our church for always believing in people, small or great! Robin & I love you all very much.

Sorry to bother you one more time but I am a true Danny fan and really have been praying for him. This is a major battle so many don’t want him in the finals..I watched all the videos on fox6 news I wish I could have been there!!!
It was soo awesome and I love your church but Im from Minnesota. Anyway- I have been praying for his voice every day since the scream!!! I really believe God wants to use him he has a message of hope.

Pastor - I’m sure I speak for many when I say we are so proud of you. Most people would not want to let a person that’s good go; however, a good Pastor will train a person and then deploy them and it’s so evident with Danny. You saw his talent, you sent him out to sing and now he is deployed to be salt and light in the world - - as hard as it was for you, you did it. God is so proud of you and you will receive many blessings because of it.
This church IS good ground!!!

Danny, YOU are so beautiful. You have a wonderful gift from God. Thank you for sharing your gift and memorable journey through American Idol with my daughter Kate and I. God bless you.
